The GEORADAR-EXPERT software system is a
product created on the basis of our many years of professional experience in
the field of GPR research. Knowing all the advantages and disadvantages of the
GPR technology, we tried to programmatically, at the stage of processing the
results of the GPR survey, to minimize some of these disadvantages, thereby
expanding the scope of GPR and the list of tasks solved using GPR.
The
GEORADAR-EXPERT software system has all the familiar tools for processing the
GPR profiling results that are available in every GPR software. But along with
this, specially developed algorithms are implemented in GEORADAR-EXPERT, which
make it possible to radically increase the information content of the final
result of GPR data processing.
For
example, the BSEF automated analysis algorithm specially developed for
GEORADAR-EXPERT allows for a qualitative transition from the presentation of
data about the subsurface in the form of a set of amplitudes of reflected
signals (i.e. GPR profile) to a model of this environment in the form of a 2D
section of an attribute or a 3D assembly these sections. Sections, which in
GEORADAR-EXPERT are calculated using more than two dozen attributes of the
characteristics of the subsurface medium and reflected GPR waves, significantly
increase the information content of the GPR research and make the result of
this research more understandable.
A
powerful statistical analysis tool for GPR profiles and BSEF analysis data
enables the user to efficiently summarize the results of a GPR research. With
the help of statistical tables and graphs, it will be easy for you to identify
the relationship between the physico-mechanical characteristics of the studied
environment (for example, soils or building structures) and a variety of
statistical indicators, thus forming a feature set that can be used in the
future to assess the structure and technical condition similar objects.
Also,
you will appreciate the tools specially developed for GEORADAR-EXPERT for
increasing the resolution of GPR signals, suppressing various kinds of interference
and even changing the frequency characteristics of the GPR probe pulse using
the B-Detector method. This method expands the field of application of
low-frequency georadars. After processing low-frequency GPR data using the
B-Detector method, the GPR profile look as if they were obtained by a
high-frequency GPR, but with a penetration depth similar to a low-frequency
GPR. Thus, you can reduce the number of GPR antennas and save on this, which is
important for small geophysical companies, given the cost of GPR equipment. In
addition, using the B-Detector method, mistakes made during the fieldwork phase
regarding the choice of GPR antenna and GPR profiling parameters can be
corrected. This is also important, since it is difficult, expensive, and
sometimes simply impossible to repeat field work.
Automation of many stages of processing allows to reduce the time for processing large volumes of GPR data, as well as to minimize the influence of the so-called human factor on the final result. Export of processing results from GEORADAR-EXPERT to various data formats allows using these results in specialized programs such as AutoCAD, Golden Software Surfer, MS Excel and similar ones. Saving the parameters of processing GPR data to a file allows users to quickly load these parameters and not waste time on re-configuring GEORADAR-EXPERT for certain tasks. Exporting images of GPR profiles, sections of attributes, 3D assemblies, as well as various graphs in graphic formats allows you to make a high-quality report on a GPR research or scientific work.
By
purchasing a license to use the GEORADAR-EXPERT software system, you get an
effective tool for solving a wide range of GPR tasks, including in cases where
the use of software for processing GPR data from other manufacturers does not
lead to positive results. High informativeness and quality of cameral work
performed using the GEORADAR-EXPERT software system will help to attract more
clients and provide you and your company with high competitiveness in the
geophysical services market.
